 Sumbal : Police on Thursday arrested over thirty  people for offering Jummah   prayers in Jamia  Masjid Manz Mohallah  Anderkot  and Arampora Masjid Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district after they voialate the prohibitory  orders. 
Top Police officer while confirming to JKNS News agency   said that we have got information that some people have assembled in Jamia Masjid  who were offering jumma prayers in the area subsequently the team of police including SDPO Sumbal Saqib Gani,SHO Sumbal Muneeb ul Islam raided the place and found there were around three dozen people and offered the Jummah prayers which was banned by the district magistrate and police swung into action and arrested around more than 30 people for violating the district magistrate orders. Officer said 
A case under relevant section has been registered in PS Sumbal The move was hailed by local people in the area.Police has again appealed  people not to venture out from their house unnecessarily.
